iT FiNaLLy HaPpEnEd!!

It finally happened!! Last Friday Dustin asked me to marry him. It could not have been more perfect we went to this Christmas lights at temple square with my family in the snow storm (you see just how bad it was snowing in my pictures). I had been begging to go to see the lights because I love them...and as we were watching my cousin play in the snow Dust kissed me a few times and pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him! It was perfect the ring took my breath away...although I picked it out I had no idea when I would be getting it and I honestly could not have asked for anything better than being with my family and on the temple grounds when he asked because I know my brother was there watching it all! I cannot wait to marry Dust and spend the rest of my life with him, he makes me so happy and I know I have truly found the love of my life and my best friend. I could never explain how much I love and how much he means to me I want to spend the rest of my life making him happy! I love you babe...this is just the beginning!!

cHrIsTmAs fUn...

I don't have to much to write about lately, we have just been busy busy getting ready for Christmas luckily I am getting close to being done with shopping! This Christmas is going to be a hard one for sure and different...here are some pictures me and Gaige took while we were helping my parents decorate my brothers grave. It turned out so CUTE good job mommy! I think while this is hard sometimes it was nice going to the cemetery as a family to decorate the grave, I usually love to decorate the tree but I think this going to be my new favorite part of Christmas decorating because we will always have his grave lookin the best. ;) This holiday season I have really let my mind focus on the true meaning of Christmas and not letting it wander to stressing about gifts and I know it is my brother trying to show that to me in my heart...we should all be grateful that we have our families to share Christmas with aside from all the gifts and the parties. I hope that everyone can feel that Christmas spirit this season!

I love Thanksgiving! I love being able to get together with friends and family and just enjoy hanging out and watching football together. It is a holiday meant to really make you think about what you are thankful for...this Thanksgiving was very different for me because for the first time in my life I really paid attention to all that I have and why I am thankful for that because I know first hand how short and precious life is and how quickly you can lose someone you love. Every single moment you have in life is a blessing and we all need to slow down and cherish every single minute of it! I am so Thankful for my brother....he is my hero and has changed my life in so many ways and I am so blessed to have had him in my life for 13 years. He taught me so much and I am forever thankful for him and cant wait until I get to see him again! I am thankful for Dustin, I can never say it enough of how much I love him and I honestly dont know what I would do without him in my life, he has been there for me so much and I am so happy that I get to have him in my life and I am so excited for our future together. I am also so thankful for my parents I love them so very much and I am grateful for the close relationship that we have so we can be here for each other through these rough times ahead. Sorry I have no pictures to post of us from Thanksgiving, it was a hard day for me and I spent most of it crying and missing my brother, also Dustin was sick so we did not feel up for pictures that day. It was a nice day though...we started at my house and had dinner with my family and then we went to his house for round two which was nice cause I got to meet a lot of his family! I am also thankful for my wonderful in laws :) Then we got in the hot tub and just talked all night, it was very nice and relaxing!

oUr WeeKeNd...

It was a busy busy weekend for me....Well Friday night we hung out at my house and tried to watch a movie but just ended up falling asleep cause we are getting old and always tired! But I was up early Saturday as me and my mom headed off to TWO baby showers that day. Then as soon as I got home it was off to dinner with our friends (Boe & Christine, Shawn & Shannon, Shane & Karlie) and then to Boe's to watch the UFC fights, it was a fun night and nice to get out with our friends because we havent done much with them lately with everything that has been going on. Sunday I went shopping with my mom...one of my favorite things to do! And I am very proud because I came home and went through my closet to get rid of some clothes in an effort to try to de-clutter my life, I have so many clothes that I don't know where to put them all. I have decided I need to find a new hobby because I can't afford this shopping one anymore!

sTaRtiN tO GeT tHe hAnG oF tHiS

So I have kind of started to figure this out a bit...But I really don't have much to write about for this week it has been pretty uneventful so far. Except on Tuesday me, my mom, and dustin's mom all got together and had a craft night, it was really fun we made the cutest pumpkins for a fall decoration! All...well most of our friends are going to Vegas this weekend and I am so jealous, I wanted to go so so bad but we have to save our money for a house so we can move out ;) But we are going to go out with Boe & Christine so hopefully after the weekend I will have something exciting to write about! Make sure to check out my slideshow I made today...it is in memory of my brother and my very best friend that my family recently lost...we miss him so so much and can't wait for the day we get to see him again! RIP Cam we LOVE you and miss you...there is not a day that goes by that we don't think about you!
